Kati Troeva

Digital marketer, travel creator, and founder of RankTrails

I’m Kati Troeva, the person behind RankTrails. I created this site to make SEO and AI search easier to understand for travel bloggers who want their work to be found without losing the voice that makes it personal.

I have more than eight years of experience in digital marketing, with work across SEO, content strategy, digital campaigns, and content optimization. My professional work has taught me how much clearer content, stronger structure, and better research can change the way people discover a website.

RankTrails brings that experience into a travel-blogging context. It is a place for practical guidance on keyword research, SEO basics, AI search, content structure, and visibility measurement — explained without turning every post into a technical project.

Why travel blogging?

Travel content is personal by nature. A useful guide does more than list places or repeat information from other websites. It reflects what you noticed, what was easier or harder than expected, and what another traveler should know before making a decision.

I live in Trieste, Italy, and spend much of my free time hiking, exploring new places, and documenting the small details that make a trip memorable. On my travel account, @kat.trailmarks, I share some of those trails, views, and everyday moments.

That combination of travel experience and SEO work shapes RankTrails. The goal is not to make travel writing sound formulaic. It is to help you make your own experience easier for the right people to find and use.

What I focus on

01

SEO & content strategy

I help turn broad ideas into focused content that matches what people actually need at different stages of planning a trip.

02

AI search & clarity

I explore how Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and other search experiences affect discovery — while keeping recommendations grounded in what platforms document and what bloggers can realistically do.

03

Travel-blog systems

I write about keyword research, search intent, internal linking, image optimization, schema, and content updates as connected parts of one useful publishing process.

How I create RankTrails guides

I aim to make every guide practical, honest, and easy to apply.

  • I start with the traveler or blogger question behind the topic.
  • I review live search results, reliable source material, and first-hand examples where they add value.
  • I use search and content data when it is available, rather than treating assumptions as proof.
  • I use AI tools to brainstorm, organize, and test ideas, but not as a replacement for research or verification.
  • I update important guidance when search features, platform documentation, or best practices change.

Editorial note

Some RankTrails articles are developed with support from AI tools during research, planning, or editing. Every guide is reviewed, edited, and fact-checked by me before publication. For time-sensitive information about search platforms, structured data, or AI tools, I check original documentation where possible. I also aim to distinguish between documented platform guidance, my own observations, and ideas that still need testing.
